Academic Manager - (Ref. 6271/AM/ESS/GR)

The Academic Training and Development Manager will design organization's training strategy, oversee its implementation and evaluate its results. The suitable candidate will identify training and development needs and lead appropriate training initiatives.

Main Responsibilities

• Enhancing employees' skills, performance, productivity and quality of work
• Identification and assessment of future and existing training needs
• Planning a comprehensive and personalized training and development program
• Development of a wide range of educational methods & relevant academic policies and procedures
• Identifying and assessing future and existing training needs through job analyses, career guidance, annual performance reviews and dialogue with supervisors and corresponding stakeholders
• Periodically monitor and evaluate the effectiveness, success and return on investment in the training program and provide relevant reports
• Budgeting & forecasting – analysis, control & input regarding finances and utilization of resources
• Constantly updated on education trends, developmental and best practices
• Develop and cultivate strong relationships with key academic institutions and associations
• Coordinate and directing the work of the training team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s and postgraduate degrees in business and training are essential
• Excellent command of English (oral & written)
• Proficiency with various computer programs and databases
• Superior leadership skills, including the ability to motivate others in order to achieve a high level of performance
• Flexibility and adaptability; ability to work with a wide range of professionals
• Energetic, positive, good decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with business management and training are mandatory
