Senior Tableau Developer (m/w/d)
Location: Thessaloniki, Greece

Your responsibilities:

  • Gathering and analysis of technical requirements
  • Conception of data models in Tableau
  • Implementing of new applications in Tableau
  • Refactoring of Tableau prototypes
  • Making changes and adjustments to existing analyses
  • Quality assurance and performance optimization of existing Tableau applications
  • Reviewing and improving current applications to enable them to comply with Best DesignPractices of Data Visualization
  • Understanding the business questions to the full extent and Ability to come up with theright visualization choices in order to deliver the correct insights
  • General knowledge on basic Tableau server administration tasks such as user creation,administration of project folders and data sources and knowing how to set permissions forthe projects, workbooks and single views on Tableau server
  • Following new features closely and nominating possible applications that can be improvedaccordingly
  • Implementing methods to maintain different layers of data security in Tableau
  • Coordinating with Tableau Admin Team for Production Deployment
  • Close communication and collaboration with the respective business departments

Required Skills, Education, Knowledge and Experience:

  • A university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administrationwith an IT focus or in a comparable course of study
  • A solid understanding of SQL, Data warehousing, relational databases, and normalization
  • Proficiency in use of query and reporting analysis tools
  • Extensive knowledge in developing, maintaining, and managing Tableau-drivendashboards & analytics and working knowledge of Tableau administration/architecture
  • At least 3 years of experience with Tableau
  • Very good analytical skills and a strong technical understanding
  • Excellent social and communication skills
  • Excellent English skills (spoken & written)

Nice-to-Have:

  • Knowledge in Python and JavaScript
  • Previous working experience in the automotive industry
  • Good German skills
