Περιγραφή

Omya is a leading global producer of calcium carbonate and a worldwide distributor of specialty chemicals and has more than 130 years of experience with more than 175 plants in over 50 countries. 

Currently is looking for its premises in Thessaloniki (Industrial Area of Sindos) a Senior Supply Chain Supervisor. Position is temporary during the maternity leave of our colleague, till the end of year with possible extension.

The ideal candidate is responsible for supporting a supply chain strategy with focus on customer service, that delivers the lowest total cost, reduces inventory, and maximizes customer satisfaction through world class service.

Procurement activities:

  • Ensure delivery of agreed Supply Chain Services at optimal cost locally.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, intermediaries, third party logistics providers, operations and customer service to discharge logistics and warehousing functions.
Logistic activities:
  • Ensure efficient and timely Inbound and Outbound Logistics for import and domestic Logistics.
  • Manage on time order fulfillment for finished and distribution goods.
  • Review logistics cost every quarterly to identify and measure possible cost avings.
  • Manage outsourced logistics companies and transporters effectiveness.
  • Regular review of distribution network and its optimization potential (import / export location, mode of transport, replenishment frequency etc. ).
Inventory management:
  • Manage inventory holding cost and inventory adequacy.
  • Ensure sufficient inventory checks and strong processes for inventory accuracy.
  • Adopt best practices in warehouse processes.
  • Manage the supply vs. demands of finished goods within country. Manage effectiveness and efficiency of SOP processes relating to customer service and logistics roles.
Customer service activities:
  • Coordinate customers' claims and its compensation follow up.
  • Coordinate the order management business, assuring efficient order handling and short response times.
  • Assure maximum service mindedness and a friendly, professional communication style to all members of the team.
  • Closely liaise with customers to establish customer relationship to meet requirement of the customers.
Reporting:
  • Deliver and report country cost & performance monthly.
  • Manage SCM KPIs reports
  • Manage all other report related to inventory managment
  • Manage KPIs related to Distribution business

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Requirements:
  • Advanced MS - Office user
  • Excellent English skills, both oral and written
  • ERP experience
  • Focus towards cost efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ability to balance priorities and drive results
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills across different cultures, both internally and externally
  • Ability to contribute and work in teams
  • Good analytical and skills
  • Out of the box thinking and good solution provider
