Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Chef de Partie or the Sous Chef in the daily schedule, cook all dishes according to recipes and menu specifications; follow instructions and recommendations from the immediate superiors
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness for all working areas, equipment, waste disposal and storage
- Control food stock and assist in ordering food items and products required for the smooth operation of the department; support the control of food cost
- Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with the new products, recipes and preparation techniques
- Complete daily checks of all mis-en-place to ensure freshness and quality standards
- Carry out any other duties as required by management team
- Follow at all times a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene
