We are seeking an Executive Chef to lead and elevate our culinary operations and bring Zélia’s food philosophy to life every day.
Role Overview
The Executive Chef is the operational leader of all kitchens and the guardian of Zélia’s culinary identity. Working closely with the Culinary Director, you will ensure flawless execution across all outlets, inspire the culinary team, and deliver exceptional dining experiences aligned with Zélia’s barefoot luxury ethos.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all culinary operations across multiple outlets and service styles (buffet, à la carte, experiential dining).
- Implement and execute the culinary vision set by the Culinary Director.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop Chefs de Cuisine and kitchen teams.
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, consistency, presentation, and hygiene.
- Manage daily operations, production planning, and service flow.
- Control food cost, inventory, procurement, and recipe costing.
- Collaborate closely with Service, Beverage, Finance, Procurement, and Marketing teams.
- Ensure full compliance with HACCP, hygiene, safety, and sustainability standards.
- Be visible and engaged during service, special events, and guest experiences.
