The Health & Safety Engineer will have the following responsibilities:

• Develops and monitors comprehensive health and safety programs and protocols in accordance with corporate and legal requirements.
• Performs regular risk assessments, site inspections, and safety audits to proactively identify hazards and ensure full regulatory compliance.
• Investigates workplace incidents to determine root causes and executes effective corrective and preventive strategies.
• Organizes and delivers safety training and awareness workshops for both internal staff and external contractors.
• Manages H&S documentation, including the tracking of safety performance indicators and official reporting.
• Partners with production and technical teams to seamlessly integrate safety standards into everyday manufacturing operations.
• Cultivates a culture of accountability, driving continuous improvement and a "prevention-first" mindset across the organization.

The suitable candidate for the Health & Safety Engineer position must possess the following:

• BSc degree in Mechanical, Environmental, Electrical, or Production & Management Engineering (or a related field)
• 0–2 years of experience in a similar role or within a heavy industrial environment
• Knowledge of Tekmon software is considered a significant asset
• H&S Certification, such as a 100-hour training program from ELINYAE or an equivalent body, is a strong plus
• Proficiency in English and high computer literacy
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams
• Critical thinking skills paired with a proactive and analytical approach to problem-solving
• Ability to think adaptively and flexibly
