Assistant Waiter/tress

Role Overview
The Assistant Waiter/ress will be responsible to support the Head Waiter with the Food and
Beverage service of our guests.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Assisting waitstaff in providing exceptional service to guests in dining areas
- Taking and serving food and beverage orders promptly and accurately
- Ensuring guests’ needs are met by providing attentive and courteous service throughout
their dining experience
- Setting and cleaning tables, including ensuring they are prepared according to restaurant
standards
- Monitoring guest satisfaction and responding to requests or concerns in a timely and
professional manner
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of dining areas and service stations
- Assisting in restocking supplies, including napkins, utensils, and condiments
- Supporting the front-of-house team in maintaining a smooth and efficient workflow
- Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders
- Adhering to safety and hygiene standards, ensuring food and beverage safety for guests
Requirements
- 1 year experience in a similar position in a 5-star Hotel or a high-end service restaurant
- Degree in Hospitality / Tourism will be considered as an asset
- Knowledge of Wines and experience in Wine Tasting will be a plus
- Excellent knowledge of English language. Any additional language will be considered an
asset
- Experience in MICROS and POS handling will be considered an asset
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
- Passion for delivering exceptional levels of services
