The Chef de Partie is a key member of the culinary team, responsible for
leading a specific kitchen section and ensuring consistent quality, refined
presentation, and smooth kitchen performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare
and cook dishes for the assigned section following recipes and standards.
- Maintain complete mise en place and ensure readiness before each service.
- Supervise and guide Commis Chefs and trainees.
- Check product freshness, quality, and rotation (FIFO).
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene regulations.
- Communicate proactively with the Chef de Cuisine regarding operational needs.
- Support cross-training across other kitchen sections.
- Uphold HACCP and food safety procedures at all times.
