The Chef de Partie is a key member of the culinary team, responsible for leading a specific kitchen section and ensuring consistent quality, refined presentation, and smooth kitchen performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook dishes for the assigned section following recipes and standards.
  • Maintain complete mise en place and ensure readiness before each service.
  • Supervise and guide Commis Chefs and trainees.
  • Check product freshness, quality, and rotation (FIFO).
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene regulations.
  • Communicate proactively with the Chef de Cuisine regarding operational needs.
  • Support cross-training across other kitchen sections.
  • Uphold HACCP and food safety procedures at all times.

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

  • Culinary diploma or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4–5 years in professional kitchens, ideally luxury or fine dining.
  • Expertise in at least one discipline (hot, cold, grill, sushi, or pastry).
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of HACCP standards.
