Περιγραφή

The IT Center of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, responsible for operations, development and maintenance of the university’s IT infrastructure, is searching for a Web Developer to work with a team of experienced developers on:

The platform consists of three front-end applications serving students, faculty, and the university registrar and a backend API which implements a number of peripheral services: events, calendars, messages, enrollments, grading, reports and certificates, digital signing and time-stamping etc. The API is a highly configurable component that enables service interconnection with all the national services for candidate national exams enrollment, university academic cards, textbooks, diplomas, quality assurance metrics, etc. The technology stack is javascript/typescript, nodejs, npm, express, odata, jasper, angular, bootstrap, coreui.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing new and extending existing functionalities of the solution platform
  • Contributing code and quality documentation
  • Maintaining code repositories with a strong focus on quality

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in javascript web development
  • Some experience with NodeJS, Angular
  • Code versioning with gitlab/github
  • Good knowledge of English

What would be a great addition:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar area with course subjects in software engineering
  • Experience with Docker and CI/CD processes (preferably Gitlab CI)
