• Assessment of raw material needs for both the parent and subsidiary companies abroad.
• Sending demands, receiving, and evaluating quotations to cover the company's inventory.
• Sending quotations to the sales department for special requests.
• Proposal for selecting suppliers.
• Handling & monitoring the progress of order execution.
• Management of claims for raw material issues.
• Search for new suppliers with quality materials at competitive prices.
• Communication and meetings with suppliers and negotiations with them within and outside Greece.
• Maintenance of data files with important information such as current material prices.
• Maintenance and analysis of statistical data.

The Procurement Assistant should have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or relevant field.
• Prior working experience 1-2 years in procurement or supply chain will be considered as an asset.
• Proficient oral and written command of the English language.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office programs.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred.
