Position of strategic procurement professional responsible for the end-to-end purchasing lifecycle of specific raw materials, components, equipment and external services. They oversee supplier selection, contract negotiations, market analysis, and cost-reduction initiatives to ensure supply chain stability and profitability.
Core responsibility
- Sourcing Strategy: Develop and execute long-term strategies for specific commodities (e.g., RM, operation&maintenance materials, services, CAPEX) to ensure competitive pricing and avoid supply disruptions, Consult, liaise, tender, negotiate, contract, monitor, control and maintain relations with suppliers (vendors, contactors, manufacturers and distributors), Contract managment, Ensure implementation of Supplier selection procedure (Supplier selection, offers comparison, Supplier qualification, Supplier audit, manage Supplier claims), Manage procurement and follow-up including inbound delivery, import formalities and reception at the site
- Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and organize tenders, monitoring Supplier’s performance and contract compliance over time.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze spend data, perform cost and scenario analysis, and develop strategies to decrease overall expenditure.
- Negotiation: Lead negotiations for favorable contract terms, pricing, and service level agreements
- Contracting: Proven experience in concluding contracts end-to-end, including drafting, legal alignment, final signing, and contract lifecycle management.
- Risk Mitigation: Anticipate market shifts and execute plans to reduce supply chain disruptions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with legal, finance, and operational teams to ensure materials are available and meet company standards.
- Market Analysis: Monitor macroeconomic and industry trends to forecast price changes and capitalize on cost-saving.
Sourcing & Market Research
- Identify and evaluate potential supply of category (e.g. RM, operational and maintenance materials etc) within the country.
- Build market intelligence of supply & demand (upstream and downstream).
- Establish market benchmarking
- Follow the price of main drivers on the market: fuel price, labor price, energy price, inflation rate etc
Vendor Selection Support & Administration
- Make offers comparison and support vendor selection and consolidation. Initiate search for new or alternative services, materials or products & suppliers.
- Compile the supplier short list with supply capacity.
- Compare and analyze quotes, negotiate prices and conditions.
- Participate in local negotiations with suppliers and process contracts within the scope specified. Develop supplier relationships.
- Make recommendations for Vendors continue improvement.
- Make Supplier prequalification and annual evaluation and share with Suppliers with action plan for continuous performance improvement.
Supply Process
- Be responsible for fulfilling the following supply activities/process:
- Mandatory hands-on experience in organizing full tender processes, including supplier prequalification, evaluation, and final award decision.
- Prepare market analyses for certain goods and identify the potential suppliers,
- Organize Supplier Audit,
- Prepare Request for quotation and run the tender
- Identify and evaluate the logistics infrastructure
- Conduct a monthly meeting with end-users from Operation and Mining teams,
- Ensure regular information exchange to project team;
- Execution of contracts: monitor realization of contracts and manage PTP process

- Perform work duties in accordance with Quality System Manual procedures & company policy.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics, or a related field.
Experience
- Typically, 5+ years of working experience in sourcing procurement.Proven seniority and maturity. Experience in a manufacturing (industrial) environment is preferred.
- Vendor Management: Deep familiarity with sourcing software, vendor management systems, and contract lifecycles.
