Payroll Supervisor

On behalf of a prominent Group of Companies with a diverse portfolio and an expansive workforce, we are seeking an accomplished Payroll Supervisor to spearhead the evolution of their payroll function toward digital maturity and operational excellence. Operating within a complex, multi-entity environment, you will serve as a Strategic Operational Lead - moving beyond administrative oversight to implement automated workflows, ensure absolute legislative governance, and provide high-level advisory support to the Group’s Total Rewards framework. As a Payroll Supervisor, you will:

• oversee the full payroll lifecycle for multiple legal entities, ensuring 100% accuracy in calculations, deductions, and timely disbursements
• identify opportunities to digitize and automate manual payroll tasks. Develop and implement workflows to minimize human error and increase processing speed
• act as the Subject Matter Expert on Greek Labor Law and Social Security regulations (ERGANI II, Digital Work Card) - ensuring the Group remains fully compliant and audit-ready
• perform rigorous cross-entity audits and reconciliations - maintaining absolute data consistency between Payroll, HRIS, and Accounting systems
• design and present consolidated labor cost reports, budget variance analysis and headcount trends to the Group’s Leadership and finance departments.
• partner with HR to administer compensation & benefits programs (bonuses, health plans, etc.), ensuring they are seamlessly integrated into the payroll infrastructure

To be considered for this Payroll Supervisor role, you must have:

• 5–7+ years of experience in payroll management, ideally within a Group of Companies or a complex corporate environment
• bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Economics 
• fluency in both Greek and English 
• advanced PC and literacy skills, with proven experience in HR reporting, data analysis, and utilizing HR metrics to inform decisions
