Project Manager

GEOSYSTEMS HELLAS S.A., a leading provider in earth observation and downstream space application solutions company based in Pangrati (Athens), in the context of National and European R&D is looking for a Project Manager to join our dynamic team.

We are looking for a Project Manager in Athens to lead both proposal writing and R&D project management. You will identify funding opportunities, draft high-quality proposals, and coordinate with internal teams and external partners. You will also manage national and EU-funded projects, ensuring tasks and deliverables are completed on time. Strong organizational and communication skills and experience in project coordination and proposal development are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and follow up a set of projects in some or all its their life cycle phases as well as enforce the delivery of the projects according to the agreed schedule, with the expected quality and with the resources provided.
• Coordinate the projects' various stakeholders and participate and contribute in meetings.
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather technical, administrative, and financial content for proposals.
• Contribute to the technical writing and editing of project deliverables, reports, and supporting documents post-approval
• Preparation and submission of project proposals for national and European programs (e.g., Horizon Europe, ESA, Digital Europe, NSRF/ESPA, GSRT).
• Delivery within schedule.
• Preparation of responses to calls for tenders.
• Analyze the needs – help with the design.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Relevant professional experience and/or familiarization with Geoinformatics, EO and Computer Vision processes is considered a plus.
• At least 2-3 years of proven experience in proposal writing and coordination, preferably in EU R&D programs.
• Strong understanding of EU funding frameworks (e.g., Horizon Europe, ESA PECS/EOEP, Digital Europe).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Communication skills.
• Confidentiality.
• Ability to produce minutes, notes, business cases, vision documents, service level agreements, terms of collaboration and planning schedules.
• Fluency of the English language.
