The Senior Systems Engineer position is full time and permanent, based in East Attica.

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining, optimizing, and evolving our core infrastructure and cloud systems:

• Administer and support Microsoft Windows Server environments and related infrastructure services.
• Manage Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Group Policies, and identity management solutions.
• Manage endpoint devices, compliance, and configuration policies through Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager.
• Maintain virtualization platforms such as VMware and/or Hyper-V.
• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, patching, and capacity planning.
• Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure, endpoint, application, and connectivity issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, and system diagrams.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, cloud adoption initiatives, and digital transformation projects.  

To excel as a Senior Systems Engineer in this role, you will bring the following skills and background:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a System Administrator, Infrastructure Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 Administration, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, virtualization, backup, and disaster recovery solutions. 
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• The following will be considered an asset:
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (Azure, M365, Security, Identity, Endpoint Management) and hands-on Azure cloud administration. 
• PowerShell scripting/automation skills and experience with ISO 27001, ERP-related infrastructure, or industrial/manufacturing environments.
