ICAP Executive Search & Selection on behalf of its client, well-established company in the GameTech industry, is looking for a Building Manager to join their Athens offices.

Building Manager (Ref. 6059/BM/ESS/GR)

Role Summary

The Building Manager will be responsible for the overall operation, maintenance, and administration of a modern 13,000 sqm commercial building that accommodates one subsidiary company and four tenants. The role combines financial and operational management duties, including invoice handling, common area cost allocation, coordination of suppliers, and supervision of both scheduled and ad hoc maintenance works.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily building operations and maintenance activities.
  • Issue, record, and manage invoices and related financial documentation.
  • Prepare and distribute common area expense statements.
  • Collect and compare quotations from external suppliers and contractors (e.g. cleaning, maintenance).
  • Coordinate scheduled and ad hoc maintenance works (elevators, fire detection systems, HVAC, etc.).
  • Liaise with external service providers and ensure quality and compliance.
  • Serve as the main contact point for tenants and internal stakeholders on building-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of contracts, expenses, and maintenance schedules.
  • Prepare periodic reports on operational costs, maintenance status, and supplier performance.

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Building Management, Facility Management, or Property Administration.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with high attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with building maintenance processes and supplier coordination.
  • Experience managing invoices, budgets, and common area expenses.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Good command of English, written and spoken.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving attitude and ability to work independently.
  • Understanding of basic technical and maintenance issues.
