Health & Safety Engineer

You are responsible for:- Implementation of all procedures required by law regarding compliance with the Plant's safety regulations and the performance of on-site work
- Approval of the use of hazardous materials prior to the start of any work and supervision of the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment
- Organising and supervising emergency drills and proposing improvements
- Complete regular ad-hoc and scheduled inspections/audits to identify areas opportunities for improvement
- Managing the air pollutant emission system and ensuring that non-compliance is reported in a timely manner
- Monitoring legal and regulatory requirements on safety, health and environmental issues and ensuring that they are established and adhered to
- Managing Health & Safety performance indicators and taking action to improve the management system where necessary
- Organising internal and external safety audits to ensure the implementation of safety regulations
- Produce monthly and yearly safety statistics
Your Education & Qualifications are:
- BSc /MSc in Engineering
- 2-4 years working experience in similar position
- Excellent knowledge of English language
- PC literate
