Jungheinrich is looking for a Project Engineer (BIM) to join our EMEA Automation Team, based in Athens.
In this role, you will contribute to the design and implementation of complex integrated material handling solutions across the EMEA region. Working closely with Project Managers, engineering teams, customers, and external partners, you will play a key role in BIM modelling, technical design, and project execution, supporting innovative automation projects in an international environment.
Tasks & Resposibilities
• Develop BIM models and technical drawings using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Support the engineering design and implementation of integrated automation and material handling solutions.
• Collaborate with Project Managers on technical aspects during project implementation.
• Review technical specifications and ensure design compliance with project requirements.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate BIM models using industry-standard tools.
• Integrate subcontractor designs into complete system layouts and coordinate design deliverables.
• Support project planning activities, scheduling, cost awareness, and technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support project execution while ensuring compliance with Jungheinrich standards, contractual obligations, and project requirements.
• Provide technical drawing and engineering support to internal implementation teams across the EMEA region.
• Visit customer sites and contribute to automation projects across the EMEA region, including travel when required.
