Acountant

Our client, a leading investor in leisure hotels across Southern Europe, is seeking an Accountant to join their Finance Team. The ideal candidate has a solid accounting background gained in a structured, multinational or large corporate environment and is looking to further develop within an international finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Post and process accounting entries and support all general ledger activities. 
• Perform supplier reconciliations and monitor outstanding balances. 
• Handle and reconcile banking transactions (bank reconciliations). 
• Manage supplier payments. 
• Support compliance with tax obligations (Payroll tax, VAT, and other periodic filings). 
• Maintain and update records through the myDATA platform. 
• Utilize SAP for all relevant accounting operations. 
• Prepare and deliver reporting to the Senior Accountant.

• 6–7 years of professional experience within a multinational environment, audit firm, or large organization. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 
• Strong proficiency in SAP (must-have). 
• Excellent command of the English language (written & spoken). 
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles and processes. 
• Experience with bank reconciliations, supplier processes, and tax obligations. 
• Familiarity with myDATA. 
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a structured environment.
