The company

Our company is a leading provider of foreign exchange trading services. Due to the expansion of our services we seek to recruit an experienced Senior JavaScript Developer who can add value to the existing team.

Job Description

The Senior JavaScript Developer will be working within a team that follows strict agile software development processes (a combination of Scrum, eXtreme Programming and Kanban methodologies) and invests in best engineering practices such as continuous integration and automated deployment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop sophisticated web-based applications (Back-end)
• Develop Single Page Web Applications using leading-edge web technologies
• Work closely with business analysts, designers, QA and software engineers from the backend-team

Monday - Friday from 9am - 6pm

Required

• Expert in JavaScript (ES6), CSS3, HTML5
• Experience with React or Angular frameworks
• Deep understanding of OOP/OOD/S.O.L.I.D principles
• Client-side design patterns
• Experience with Git/Mercurial version control software
• Full professional proficiency in English

Desired

• Typescript
• Hands-on Agile Software Development approach
• ReactiveX
• Experience with Websockets, Canvas, Svg, IndexedDB
• Experience with charting applications
• Experience with real-time web-applications
• Experience with testing methodologies (unit tests, integration tests, mocks, etc)
• Webpack, Gulp
• Less, Sass
• Russian and Greek languages as a plus
• Experience with financial markets and trading applications
