Public Tenders Specialist

A company operating in the energy sector is seeking a Public Tenders Specialist to join its commercial department in Athens. The suitable candidate will take on the management of the public tender participation process, from the initial monitoring and preparation of required documentation to the drafting, submission, and tracking of offers, ensuring full regulatory compliance and adherence to set deadlines.

For the role of Public Tenders Specialist , you will be responsible for:

• Monitoring public procurement platforms and government portals daily to identify relevant tenders
• Analyzing tender requirements, terms, and budgets to evaluate product suitability and complianc
• Updating the Sales Department on new opportunities and coordinating the decision-making process for participation
• Extracting tender documents and accurately updating the corporate CRM system
• Communicating with international manufacturing partners to request and collect necessary documentation and declarations
• Preparing comprehensive technical and financial offers, including compliance sheets, in collaboration with the Sales Manager
• Submitting bids and closely monitoring the progress and procedural adherence of all active public tenders
• Providing administrative support for legal appeals or legal actions initiated by the company
• Tracking future public consultations and drafting relevant documentation and responses
• Creating and updating a centralized archive containing all product technical descriptions and specifications
• Monitoring competitors' sales strategies and keeping up-to-date records of competitor product specifications
• Managing and renewing corporate legal documents (e.g., Criminal Records, GEMI certificates)
• Ensuring regulatory compliance with competent authorities

For the role of Public Tenders Specialist,  you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Technology, or a relevant field
• Excellent command of English, written and spoken
• Very good knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems
• Advanced knowledge of electronic public procurement platforms (e.g., ESIDIS)
• Familiarity with public procurement legislation (e.g., Law 4412/2016)
