Group Chief Financial Officer (Ref. 5921/CFO/ESS/GR)
About the Role:
The Group CFO, reporting directly to the Managing Director, will act as a key strategic partner to the Executive Team, with a core mandate to safeguard the Group’s financial integrity, ensure disciplined governance and drive long-term value creation. Operating in a dynamic multinational environment, the CFO will be responsible for navigating financial complexity across jurisdictions, ensuring robust financial planning, performance management, and regulatory compliance, while driving cross-functional projects that enhance operational resilience and support the Group’s modernization and growth agenda.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with the Group’s vision and the Board’s directives, ensuring financial health and sustainability, while effectively managing complex financial structures across international jurisdictions.
- Supervise all facets of financial planning (budgets, forecasts) and reporting, delivering accurate, timely insights to stakeholders. Maintain strong internal controls and compliance frameworks across all subsidiaries, ensuring harmonization of information systems and financial practices.
- Ensure alignment with IFRS and local regulations, strengthen financial governance and mitigate financial and operational risks, including challenges arising from regulatory changes and inflationary pressures.
- Drive enterprise-wide initiatives that enhance modernization, operational efficiency and sustainable value creation. Oversee critical cross-functional projects including cost optimization, process improvements, technology integrations, organizational change and major capital investments, while ensuring meaningful integration of ESG criteria into financial management.
- Partner with business leaders to drive financial performance across B2B and B2C channels, with structured margin analysis, KPI reporting and performance tracking frameworks.
- Represent the Group in financial dealings with banks, auditors, regulators and advisors. Foster trust through transparency and credibility.
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance function across geographies, acting as strategic advisor to the CEO and Board on all financial matters.
