Action Recruitment is the oldest and most established employment agency in the tourism sector in Ireland since 1974. In April (exact date to be confirmed) we will be hosting a virtual career fair for the tourism industry. With a view to starting work in Ireland in May.
So how will it work?
You will apply with your CV in English if you are interested in being included in the virtual fair. If we do not receive your CV in English, then you cannot attend.
From the end of March onwards, a member of the Action Recruitment team will call you to register you for the fair. They will call you to have a brief conversation to see if you have a minimum B level of English. They will also want to know your reason for coming to Ireland.
If Action Recruitment decides that you are suitable for the fair, they will list your CV (with your permission) onto a drive which all the hotels attending the fair will have access to. If the hotels like the look of your CV then they will either call or email you directly 5-7 days before the fair to ask you to meet them online at a specific time on the day of the fair.
If you are invited to any appointments online you will be sent a link for the video call a few days before the fair.
If you are offered a role in Ireland, then you would be expected to travel within 5-10 days to Ireland to start work.
