Position Overview:
We are seeking a poised and professional Cashier to join our team and contribute to the refined atmosphere of our upscale establishment. As a Cashier, you will embody our commitment to excellence by providing attentive service, processing transactions with precision, and upholding the highest standards of hospitality for our discerning guests.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests with warmth and grace as they arrive at the cashier station, creating a welcoming and luxurious first impression.
- Execute transactions accurately and efficiently using our sophisticated POS (Point of Sale) system, handling cash, credit card, and other forms of payment with discretion and professionalism.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized recommendations on menu items, beverages, and amenities to enhance their experience.
- Maintain a polished and organized cashier station, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness at all times to uphold the upscale ambiance of the restaurant and beach club.
- Collaborate closely with servers, bartenders, and other team members to coordinate guest requests and ensure a seamless flow of service.
- Demonstrate impeccable attention to detail in processing orders, verifying pricing, and managing refunds or exchanges according to established protocols.
- Adhere to strict cash handling procedures and security measures to safeguard against loss or theft and maintain the integrity of financial transactions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role within an upscale restaurant, hotel, or similar environment preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with guests in a refined and sophisticated manner.
- Proficiency in handling cash and processing transactions accurately, with a strong understanding of POS systems and payment processing technology.
- Grace under pressure and the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced, highvolume environment while delivering flawless service.
