For our client, a leading Irish food, and convenience retailer in Ireland, we are looking for a Gastro department manager for our client in Co. Cork, Ireland.
Candidate information/requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have at least two years of work experience as a Gastro department/Fresh food Manager
- Previous experience working in a canteen, fast food, or a restaurant
- HACCP, Health and Safety, and Food Safety Protocols knowledge would be a plus
- Excellent customer service, good leadership, and organizational skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers
- An advanced level of English is required
About the job:- Permanent, full-time position
- ● If moving to Ireland from abroad, you will be provided with two weeks of free accommodation. After that, you will be paying between €400 (+ utilities) per month for a private room in the nearby area
● Salary after tax in Ireland for this Gastro department Manager role will be approximately €2,400 net per month (€34,320 gross; before tax, per year) on 40 hours per week
● Your salary will be paid weekly on an hourly basis (€555 net per week) - Your duties will be: overseeing operations, inspecting food quality and display case presentation, managing food safety practices and cleaning, managing other food preparation employees, ensuring quality customer service
