On behalf of our partner, a leading multinational company which provides, among others, facility management services to its clients, we are looking for a Facilities Manager on a 6-month contract. The eligible candidate will be responsible for providing efficient and effective facility management, managing all aspects of facilities service, satisfying all aspects of client and tenant requirements and coordinating the efforts of the Facility Management (FM) team, (e.g. vendors, contractors, and onsite employees) to achieve these goals.
This role will report to the Account Director.
MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading the operation, staffing, performance and development of the service delivery staff, in consultation and collaboration with the Account Director
- Taking responsibility for developing and implementing appropriate policies and procedures for FM services that are tailored to the needs of the portfolio
- Ensuring all staff and contractors are aware of, and comply with their responsibilities under the contract with particular emphasis on the critical SLAs and KPls agreements with the Client
- Establishing effective lines of communication with the Client’s staff across all managed sites and ensuring service standards meet or exceed Client’s expectations
- Preparing the detailed OPEX and CAPEX budgets for sites under the Lead FM's Responsibilities, ensuring budget compliance and monthly reporting on variances
- Establishing close working relationships with Service Partners, reviewing performance and ensuring delivery against their KPIs agreements
- Visiting other Clients’ sites, as required and agreed with account management, to ensure that the needs of Client’s are being met, and to appraise the performance of the team
- Producing exceptional results - plans effectively, prioritizes, being consistently timely & budget compliant
- In conjunction with the procurement team, competitively bid and prepare all service contracts to assure high quality and cost-effective services.
- Ensuring that staff and contractors operate in compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures and with Iocal, national or European Heath & Safety legal requirements
- Overseeing the appropriate site monthly, quarterly, annual reporting
- Ensuring that all defined services are completed in accordance with all operating procedures, statuary requirements, and within the Health and safety guidelines
- Introducing new innovations, initiatives and encouraging a continuous improvement philosophy across their sites acting as a point of co-ordination and communication.
- Recommending continuous quality improvement practices
- Keeping up-to-date on latest FM Best Practices making recommendations to the management team, where appropriate.
