Cost Controller
Location: Thessaloniki
Position Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Cost Controller
to join our Finance team and support effective cost management across our Food
& Beverage operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in
inventory control, recipe costing, reporting, and budget monitoring, ensuring
accuracy, transparency, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee invoicing for all kind
of purchases to ensure invoices are processed on time and accurately in the
system, upon contract/agreed pricing
- Coordinate and supervise
monthly physical inventories across all warehouses, reconciling physical stock
with ERP system balances
- Monitor and control
intercompany stock transfers, ensuring accounting accuracy and compliance
- Perform spot checks on goods
receipts, verifying quantities, quality, and pricing according to procurement
agreements
- Develop, maintain and update standard
recipes into the systems in collaboration with Chefs and food and beverage
supervisors to ensure accurate Food and Beverage cost control
- Prepare monthly cost reports,
analyze variances, and propose corrective actions per cost center
- Track and analyze waste,
spoilage, expired items, and returns, providing insights to reduce losses
- Manage and maintain ERP master
data, ensuring correct item codes, units of measurement, and categorization
- Assist in the preparation of budgets
and forecasts, supporting financial planning and cost optimization initiatives
Qualifications / Personal characteristics:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in
a similar position ideally within a 5* Luxury Hotel; previous hotel accounting
experience would be an asset
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration,
or a related field
- Excellent knowledge of Greek
and English language
- Computer literacy (Excel and
Fidelio/Opera)
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Entersoft, Twinsoft)
- A team player passionate about
the job and detailed oriented
