Finance Officer

We are looking for a Financial Officer.

Description of the position: Conducting financial management, accounting of the ASB Greece programme.

Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and statements, review and follow up on financial reporting of the ASB Country Office Greece.
- Assisting in financial planning and efficient budgetary control for the programmes, in line with financial rules and regulations and donor requirements.
- Preparation of payment requests, bank transfers and cash payments
- Checking, input and reconciliation of bank statements
- Coordinate with the Procurement Officer for regular preparation of Project Financial Reports
- All other duties as assigned by the Project Manager / Country Director

- University degree or higher education in Finance, Business, Economics or equivalently 6 years of working experience in relevant sector
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact and communicate appropriately with office staff
- Experience in the use of computer tools, such as word processing, spreadsheets and database software as well as financial integrated information systems
