Technical Quality Manager.

Job location: Drama (relocation package)

Reports to: Director of Quality Management

Job Summary
The responsibility of the Technical Quality Manager (QM) is to maintain, facilitate and ensure quality management and quality assurance in our company. Therefore, the QM is administrating the quality management systems and regulatory standards. The QM promotes actively quality related topics and is embedded in the operations of one of our company’s facilities/sectors, but also part of company´s global operational structure.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance to the applied standards for Quality Management (QMS), Environmental Management (EMS) and Occupational Health and Safety Management (OH&S)
  • Ensure the promotion of awareness for quality and customer requirements throughout the organization
  • Customer concern management and corrective action process
  • Coordinate and supervise quality inspections for incoming-, inline- and outgoing-control
  • Report to management on the performance of the QMS, EMS and OH&S and any need for improvement
  • Liaise with the external assessment body on all matters related to the external accreditation process (ISO, VDE, UL)
  • Ensure control of documents and records within the scope of the QMS, EMS
  • Perform internal audits and supplier audits
  • Devise and establish a company's quality procedures, standards and specifications
  • Review customer requirements and make sure they are met
  • Work with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers
  • Set standards for our state-of-the-art products’ quality
  • Make sure that manufacturing or production processes meet international and national standards
  • Define quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff
  • Set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures
  • Measure performance and identify any areas of weakness, recommending and implementing improvements
  • Liaise with other managers and staff and provide training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality standards
  • Assess the effectiveness of changes made
  • Train and manage a team of quality control technicians

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master degree in Electrical engineering, Automation Engineering, Electronics Engineering
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience in quality assurance/quality management, certified specialist a plus
  • Familiar with management systems ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001
  • Familiar with IATF 16949:2016 and VDA Experience with APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP and Auditing from customers or third parties
  • Experience with CE marking per EU legislation mainly on LVD,EMC,Machinery, Rail System with EU directives and RoHS/REACH/WEEE compliance
  • Customer interfacing and corrective action experience
  • Excellent computer skills, in particular with Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in both English and Greek (excellent written and verbal communication skills)
  • Willingness to travel
  • Experiences in electrical measurements
