General Purpose of the Role
The Planning & Asset Management Associate is responsible for assisting all phases of the planning processes across our growing portfolio of real estate holdings in Greece under the leadership of the Planning & Asset Management Director and Manager, from projects at existing properties to permitting of future acquisitions (existing and greenfield). The Associate is also responsible for maintaining a detailed database of past and ongoing projects and monitoring their progress from a planning and compliance standpoint, while also addressing existing planning related technical issues and leading initiatives to create value through strategic asset management and maximizing planning potential.

Your main responsibilities

  • Project Planning Management: Oversee planning processes for real estate projects, including studies, building permits, renovations, and land use changes
  • Regulatory Compliance: Manage various aspects like stream, beach/coastline, Natura zone, forest land, and archaeological area management, ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Environmental and Municipal Management: Handle environmental permits and land contributions to municipalities
  • Record Keeping and Database Management: Maintain and update records and documentation of all planning permits and create a comprehensive database of the group's properties
  • Support for Acquisitions: Assist the Acquisitions team with feasibility studies and business plans for new projects
  • Strategic Real Estate Management: Collaborate with various teams to create value through new initiatives and conduct technical due diligence

Your main qualifications

  • At least 2 years in a similar role, preferably with experience in hotel project permitting
  • Deep and current understanding of legislation related to real estate and environmental management
  • Good knowledge of financial feasibility, particularly in real estate development
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • to strategize and propose effective planning alternatives and solutions
  • Skilled in working collaboratively with multiple departments and stakeholders
