Head of Operations

A prestigious, boutique firm specializing in high-end architectural, landscape, and urban design is seeking a Head of Operations to join its leadership team. This critical role requires a unique balance: a strategic mindset to drive business development and financial governance, coupled with a deep appreciation for the quality, integrity, and timely execution of design projects.

The Head of Operations will provide comprehensive leadership across the firm's strategic, financial, and operational pillars. 

• Monitor and oversee the execution and compliance of all project contracts (Συμβάσεις Έργου), ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and legal requirements
• Oversee all non-core administrative functions, managing the organizational bureaucracy and ensuring smooth daily business operations
• Manage operational efficiency, resource allocation, and workflow across all design and execution phases
• Provide oversight and strategic direction to HR processes, including performance management, recruitment support, and employee relations
• Ensure the integration of best practices in project management and quality control across all engagements
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of highly skilled design professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability
• Provide strategic oversight of the firm’s financial status, including comprehensive budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis
• Lead and execute the firm’s strategy for market expansion, business growth, and client acquisition in both local and international markets
• Cultivate and maintain high-level relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders within the design and development industries
• Identify new project opportunities and lead the creation of compelling proposals and tender submissions

To be considered for this Head of Operations role, candidates should have:

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience
• A University/college degree (Degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or Civil/Structural Engineering is highly desirable)
• A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Project Management is a strong asset
• Fluency in both Greek and English (written and verbal) is essential
