Department: Procurement
Contract: Full Time / Permanent

General Purpose of the Role:

That is an excellent opportunity for a Finance/Accounting junior professional who has proven experience in processing financial & non-financial data, providing value-added information, and ensure the accuracy of reported data and consistency with corporate policies and procedures.

Your main responsibilities

  • Manage daily purchasing needs of operational equipment and ensure on time deliveries.
  • Maintain well organized file depository regarding purchase requests, purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and other important documentation.
  • Request RFQs, RFPs and RFIs.
  • Negotiate terms & conditions with suppliers such as price, quality of goods, payment terms, delivery dates.
  • Run market research, identify potential new vendors and opportunities.
  • Analyze the market and prepare comparisons, presentations, and reports.
  • Liaise with other departments, in order to cover purchasing needs and achieve defined targets.
  • Coordinate and execute delivery changes.
  • Liaise with suppliers when necessary. Identify alternative suppliers to cover company’s needs and best interest.

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Required Education/ Qualifications/ Other Accreditations

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or relevant studies are desirable.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative position. Work experience in a Procurement department will be considered as an asset.
  • MS Office – power user of Excel.
  • Knowledge of ERP.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills and attention to detail.
