Logistics Operations Manager

As a Logistics Operations Manager, your responsibilities include:

• Continuous support on daily logistics operational issues in warehouse, distribution and service in HORECA clients
• Lead and manage the warehouse and distribution team, assigning the different duties to team members, providing support and coaching, assessing performances and supporting their development
• Control of the owned warehouses across Greece, as well as the 3PLs by communicating on a daily basis to ensure smooth operation of stock control / picking / loading and distribution
• Establish, maintain and promote high standards of customer service
• Train and monitor staff in standard operating procedures and safe work practices
• Create a high performance culture in her/his team by setting clear expectations and targets, analysing individual and team performance and giving appropriate and prompt feedback
• Work closely with the key managers, understanding forecasted volumes and priorities to achieve on time delivery of all customer orders
• Plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to deliver products to final destinations

The position of Logistics Operations Manager is just the right one for you if you possess the following skills:

• 3+ years’ professional logistics and/or warehouse experience in food industry at a managerial level
• University or college degree
• Excellent command of the Greek and English language
• Power user of WMS and ERP systems, Mantis and Softone ideally
• Experienced in management at a middle / senior level, in a rapidly changing environment
• Ability to manage large teams of workers/operators
• Effective team builder, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced logistics skills / knowledge of transport and distribution constraints
• Customer orientation, negotiation skills, results & quality oriented
