Health & Safety Manager

Are you an experienced engineer with a strong background in workplace safety and risk prevention?

A well-established organization with modern office facilities is looking to welcome a skilled Health & Safety  Manager who will contribute to maintaining high safety standards and continuously improving internal processes related to occupational health and safety.

The responsibilities of Health and Safety Manager include:

• Overseeing the effective operation of the organization’s Health & Safety management framework.
• Reviewing and improving procedures, guidelines, and related documentation when necessary.
• Ensuring that policies and safety documentation remain aligned with current legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Verifying that workplace facilities meet appropriate safety standards for employees and visitors.
• Conducting periodic inspections and internal audits.
• Coordinating and supervising collaboration with external Health & Safety advisors.
• Working closely with suppliers and contractors to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Monitoring any technical or construction activities taking place within office premises from a Health & Safety perspective.
• Planning and delivering training initiatives to promote awareness and compliance among employees.

The ideal candidate for this Health and Safety Manager position should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• A postgraduate qualification or professional certifications in Health & Safety will be considered an advantage.
• Approximately 5 years of experience in Health & Safety roles.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Ability to prepare reports, analyze results, and present key findings or recommendations to senior management.
