Randstad Hellas is seeking to employ an Technical Support Engineer, on behalf of our client, a multinational company, leader in its sector (heavy industry).
Do you have proven work experience in an industrial, manufacturing sales environment preferably in power, energy or construction fields?
As a Technical Support Engineer your main responsibilities are:
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to existing and prospective customers
- Confer with customers and engineers to assess technicalneeds and determine system requirements
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support
- Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery
- As part of a team, develop and create customer driven products from inception to completion
- Plan and modify products to meet customer needs
- Help clients solve problems with installed equipment
- Recommend improved products to customers, showing how changes will lower costs or increase production
- Discuss and understand any certification requirements from the customer
- Create technical proposals in coordination with Sales
- Operate as the point of contact in providing technical support and other Technical and Applications Engineering assistance
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve problems and provide service
