A&G currently seeks to employ a highly-skilled and experienced Site Manager that will oversee the successful undertaking of various large-scale electrical construction projects. The selected candidate will possess extensive technical expertise and experience managing such projects. He/she will report directly to the Managing Director but will be expected to work independently to perform the following activities:
Key Responsibilites
- Organize & plan the total construction project (understand needs & objectives, design framework, blueprints & engineering drawings, and develop project budget and delivery timeline)
- Extensively examine the project contracts and make comments as needed
- Conduct product/supplier research and collaborate with Procurement Manger for purchasing
- Organize construction work site (bearing in mind equipment needed, safety measures, etc.)
- Manage subordinate staff/technicians team (including designating a Construction Supervisor/Foreman), while estimating the work time, daily agendas, and salaries
- Communicate with clients via email or meetings conducted on site, informing them of project status and providing them with relative materials (ex: engineering surveys & drawings)
- Multi-task when necessary and travel between various projects, overseeing Construction Supervisor and troubleshooting potential issues on site
- Actively work to enforce health & safety measures affecting staff & clients on the work site, adhering to Greek and European codes
- Collect all invoicing and expenses gathered on the work site and inform Accounting accordingly; also provide total income/expense table at the time of project completion
- Maintain organized record of daily project expenses, tax documentation, calendar of work performed, and provide feedback to the company on a daily basis
- Oversee billing milestones, and relay communication between Accounting and clients
- Conduct monthly evaluation regarding the strength & productivity of all technical personnel
- Provide client with requested completion protocol & project completion report
- Confirm that Performance Warranty is waived after project completion
- Participate frequently in technical training seminars and technology conferences relative to industry
- Represent the company responsibly and professionally, always bearing in mind its best interest
