To support the seamless operation of our property, we are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager who will oversee all technical and engineering operations of the resort.
Role Overview
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the efficient operation, maintenance, and safety of all resort facilities and technical infrastructure. The role ensures the reliability of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems while maintaining the highest standards of safety, functionality, and guest comfort.
Working closely with the Hotel Manager and key department leaders, the Maintenance Manager ensures that all engineering operations support the resort’s quality standards and long-term asset protection.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering & Technical Operations
Oversee the operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Ensure uninterrupted functioning of essential infrastructure including power, water systems, heating, and air conditioning.
Monitor technical equipment across guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, and back-of-house facilities.
Preventive Maintenance
Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program.
Conduct regular inspections of rooms, installations, and public areas.
Maintain maintenance records, technical documentation, and equipment logs.
Contractor & Project Coordination
Manage external contractors for specialized technical work and improvement projects.
Supervise renovation and repair works ensuring quality and compliance with safety regulations.
Collaborate with procurement for technical specifications and supplier selection.
Budget & Cost Control
Support the preparation and management of the annual maintenance budget.
Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
Review purchase requests for technical equipment and spare parts.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with local regulations related to building safety, fire protection, and technical installations.
Oversee fire safety systems, emergency generators, and safety equipment.
Support sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives.
Team Leadership
Supervise and coordinate the maintenance team.
Assign daily tasks, priorities, and technical responsibilities.
Provide guidance, training, and performance oversight.
Guest Experience Support
Ensure all guest facilities operate smoothly and meet the property’s quality standards.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests in collaboration with operational departments.
