Pool Lifeguard

Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino is looking for a Pool Lifeguard to join our Security team, for season 2026.

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino within the Security Department in Pylos, Messenia, Greece the Pool Lifeguard ensures the safety of pool users by enforcing rules, maintaining cleanliness, conducting emergency checks, and responding to emergencies promptly while also reporting any safety hazards or defects. The Pool Lifeguard reports to the Lifeguard Supervisor.

As Pool Lifeguard, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Remain alert to emergency conditions and perform lifeguarding skills.
• Enforce rules and regulations and handle public enquires & feedback.
• Maintain works and cleaning to prevent defects and rust.
• Ensure the first-aid and lifesaving equipment are in good working condition.
• Conduct emergency phone checking on regular basis.
• Report potential safety and any defects of swimming pool facilities to the Engineering department.
• Ensure appropriate attire of the pool users and prevent hazard objects in the pool.

As Pool Lifeguard, we expect from you: 

• Valid EU Passport or Hellenic Residence Permit.
• Certified by ENKA or similar.
• BLS Certified.
• CPR Certified.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Experience in a similar position will be considered as a plus.
• Good level in English.
