Job description
We are looking for a highly energetic, results driven and detail-oriented individual to join our booking team as a Booking Team Member. As a vital part of our team, you will be responsible for managing bookings, communicating with customers, and overseeing Property Management Systems (PMS) and Channel Managers to ensure seamless operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage bookings and reservations efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and other communication channels to provide assistance, answer inquiries, and address concerns promptly and professionally
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth handling of bookings and guest requests
- Utilize Property Management Systems (PMS) and Channel Managers to update inventory, rates, and availability across multiple platforms
- Monitor and analyze booking trends, occupancy rates, and guest feedback to optimize revenue and enhance customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional strategies and drive bookings
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Tourism Business Management or Business Administration preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry preferred
- Knowledge of using Property Management Systems (PMS) and Channel Manager is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
