Operator (IT Company)

LMW is seeking an Operator on behalf of a leading multinational IT company (banking sector).

As an Operator, you will work as an expert acrossBanking Application implementation projects. You will have the opportunity to work close to our clients, in order to understand their requirements and to translate them to functional specifications.

Responsibilities

• Inform project teams for EOD execution plans
• Follow-up planned steps of EOD executions, coordinate EOD execution with teams (DBAs, DevOps teams)
• Communicate and escalate issues to Application/Infra/UAT teams, upon job failures/delays
• Execute of Jobs in Test environments of Control-M during the day for UAT support
• Monitor of Automatic Daemon Jobs in Test environments
• Re-execute of Jobs in case of Failures
• Order of Jobs for the Nightly test job executions in Test environments
• Execute of Jobs for the Nightly test job batch executions (Daily and on Weekends upon request)
• Monitor executions in Finacle environment, during Daily/Nightly executions (additionally on Weekends upon request)
• Check PODs in OpenShift and communicate with DevOps team for scale-up needs
• Raise technical Defects in Jira upon Failed executions
• Document performance results of EOD executions in Test environments

• Degree in Computer Science or other relevant disciplines
• 3+ years of implementation in any of the above
• Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a distributed team adhering to strict deadlines and challenging targets
• Excellent command of the English language (written & verbal)
• Analytical thinking with problem-solving abilities
• Fulfilled military services obligations (if applicable)
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence
• Experience from the banking and financial industry
• Proficiency in English (both verbal & written)
