Accounts Payable Accountant

Job Description:

• Managing incoming documents, both electronic and hard copies, including verification, issue • resolution, and follow-up communication
• Processing and validating all types of invoices, credit notes, and file uploads against vendor accounts, including inter-company and employee vendors
• Overseeing end-to-end payment management, resolving payment issues, preventing duplicate payments, and managing IDOCs
• Conducting reconciliation activities for vendor accounts and G/L accounts within the department's scope, including debit balance management and open item management
• Handling vendor and internal business inquiries promptly and effectively
• Generating reports as per SOPs and additional country-specific reporting requirements, both ad hoc and scheduled
• Assisting in knowledge retention efforts by creating and updating process documentation and supporting materials
• Contributing to internal and external audit activities, ensuring compliance with ICFR and audit requirements
• Proactively welcoming improvements and best practices, fostering stakeholder partnerships
• Providing support to D2P management with ad hoc activities when necessary

• University degree in Accounting/ Business Administration or similar field
• General understanding of finance processes and standards
• Broad experience in accounts payable processes (or related field), and familiarity with SAP is an advantage
• Strong communication and advisory skills, with the ability to address complex issues effectively
• Customer-centric approach in day-to-day interactions
• End-to-end accountability, coupled with problem-solving skills and a growth mindset, particularly in ambiguous situations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment, demonstrating multi-cultural acceptance
