Actionline Ltd., is a Greek company that specializes in the provision of innovative human resources solutions. Actionline is currently seeking on behalf of its client, for a Cyber Security Engineer.
Description:
In your role you will undertake tasks, such as:
- Design, implement, administrate, maintain, tune, and troubleshoot Cybersecurity Systems and Solutions such as WAF, DAM, EDR, email Security, PAM, DLP, etc.
- Investigate and analyze alerts triggered from the Cyber Security Solutions in place.
- Work on projects focused on development and continuous improvement of security infrastructure.
- Provide consultation and security improvements in Azure oriented solutions and be responsible for the security hardening of the aforementioned systems.
- Research innovative technologies and investigate industry security best practices in designing problems.
- Assist in maintaining the security level of IT systems and networks.
- Create documentation and revise the deliverables for important cybersecurity projects.
To be a successful candidate, your professional profile should match the following criteria:
- University/College degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology or relevant technology-related field.
- At least (3) years of proven working experience as a Security Engineer or similar role.
- A Master’s Degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, or similar area will be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of common Cybersecurity Models (Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond & Recover) and frameworks is a plus.
- Understanding of Identity Protection, Anti-DDoS protection, Endpoint Protection, WAF, as well as networking concepts (TCP/IP, network packet analyzing, network technologies and perimeter protection).
- Being familiar with Cloud Technologies and Azure landscape.
- Being comfortable with cyber security incident handling topic.
- Relevant Cybersecurity Certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, CEH, GCIH, eWPT, CySA+, AZ-100, AZ-500, SC-200 will be considered a plus!
On the personal side:
- Comfort in presenting and explaining cybersecurity topics to technical teams as well as high-level audience.
- Experience in working with cross functional teams in executing projects (IT Systems, Database or Network Administrators).
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communications and negotiation skills.
- Passionate with Cyber Security topic.
- Strong aptitude for staying updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and best practices.
