Porto Mykonos Hotel is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Head
Chef to lead and manage the hotel’s kitchen operations.
The Head Chef will be the first person in command of the
kitchen and fully responsible for supervising all cooks and kitchen staff. The
ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of all cooking sections and be able
to maintain high culinary standards while strictly following hotel guidelines
and cost control procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full supervision and leadership of the kitchen team
- Menu planning and execution according to hotel standards
- Food cost control, budgeting, and waste management
- Ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation of all dishes
- Compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Training, guiding, and motivating kitchen staff
- Close cooperation with hotel management
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a hotel environment
- Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
- Strong cost control and organizational skills
- Professional, well-mannered, and team-oriented personality
- Ability to perform under pressure in a seasonal hotel environment
