Then this opportunity is for you! Randstad, on behalf of a leading multinational company in the home appliances industry, is seeking the next Category Marketing Manager.

The main responsibilities of the Category Manager include: 

• Develop and execute the category strategy in alignment with global Business Units (BUs) to continuously increase market share.
• Define the product line-up and pricing policy to optimize turnover, sales volume, and profitability across the cluster markets.
• Lead new product launches, manage the phase-out of older product lines, and design national promotional campaigns.
• Monitor and analyze market data (e.g., GfK data, competitor trends, consumer insights) and provide regular feedback to Headquarters.
• Coordinate with the Brand Activation team to ensure state-of-the-art presentations at points of sale (POS) and define distribution targets alongside the sales department.
• Oversee all training measures, including training plans, concepts, and content for the assigned product category.
• Actively participate in international company projects, product summits, and cross-border initiatives.

The ideal candidate for the Category Manager position must possess the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (a Master’s degree is preferred).
• 5+ years of proven professional experience in a similar Category Management role and leading product launches.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a strong focus on delivering results and meeting targets (KPIs / ROI).
• Excellent project and process management skills, coupled with leadership capabilities.
• Willingness to travel and the ability to thrive in a multicultural work environment.
• Previous international work experience will be considered a strong asset.
