Field Operations Technical Lead

ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a Greek construction company, focused on telecom networks infrastructure, is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Field Operations Technical Lead.

The Field Operations Technical Lead will lead, coordinate, and support technical topics, commercial commitments and solutions. He/she will also plan, and monitor service and material requirements needed to secure an efficient implementation and configuration of Telecommunications equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Be the point of reference for technical and organizational issues around field operations
• Understand client needs and specifications
• Organize quality control & reporting procedures to assess the results being delivered to the customer
• Be responsible for keeping field teams up to date with technologies and procedures, organize training material and schedule
• Troubleshoot and support teams on the field
• Work closely with Field Roll-Out manager to streamline procedures and schedules
• Get involved in pricing activities, advising on the activities performed, cost of travels, material costs
• Validate work orders and material lists received from customer

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Telecommunications or Telematic Engineering, or an equivalent.
• Strong Experience with GSM/UMTS/LTE installation and integration
• Familiar with installation of Ε/// and NOKIA Base Station equipment
• Familiar with installation of radio equipment, antennas, feeders
• Familiar with installation of power supply equipment
• Familiar with installation and commissioning of transmission equipment (Experience with Huawei microwave installation/ commissioning)
• Familiar with installation of Base Station equipment
• Familiar with external alarm configuration/ testing
• Ability to fully understand and implement complicated work orders
• Commissioning, integration, troubleshooting of both Nokia/Ericsson equipment
• Experience in performing/reviewing site surveys. Experience in understanding site specific needs and design proper solutions
• Suitable candidate should be able to arrange material orders and transportation
• Experience in preparing detailed site folders
• Ability to work in a team environment with multiple teams and tight schedules
• OHS knowledge & skills
• Good Knowledge of English Language
• Knowledge of German Language will be considered a plus
• Ability to travel for short period of times (15-20%)
