Job Description
To serve all types of food items as assigned by Katsu, the Chef de Cuisine of the outlet. Other responsibilities include handling a basic range of raw fish and other ingredients and work with attention to detail to fulfill all orders within quality standards.
Responsibilities
• Serve Katsu’s sushi menu with various main ingredients and raw fish (for example, salmon, tuna, unagi)
• Prepare all types of sushi, including maki, nigiri and sashimi
• Manage food preparation activities, like boiling rice etc.
• Coordinate with Chef to ensure proper cooking that are close to the philosophy of Japanese cuisine
• Maintain hygiene principles in all cooking areas and clean kitchen’s space at the end of the shift
