We are currently looking for a highly skilled Mining Engineer to join our subsidiary, Hellenic Quarries S.A., for its quarry operations in Thessaly.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage daily quarry operations, including excavation, drilling and blasting activities, and internal haulage
- Develop and implement operational plans, including production schedules and resource allocation
- Monitor and manage inventories of raw materials, consumables and critical spare parts
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
- Collaborate with Sales and Commercial team to align production output with market demand and customer requirements
- Monitor operational performance, identify opportunities to improve productivity and cost efficiency, and prepare regular performance reports for management.
