Περιγραφή

On behald of our client, a 5* Resort in Folegandros with 25 Suites & 2 Villas , we are recruiting a Head Chef for this summer season.

As the Head Chef of the resort, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our culinary operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, creativity, and guest satisfaction. Working closely with Executive Consultant Chef Mr. Lazarou, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our culinary offerings and establishing our resort as a premier dining destination.

  • 1 day off per week

The Role:

  • Collaborate with Executive Consultant Chef Mr. Lazarou to create seasonal menus that showcase the best of Greek and international cuisine, incorporating locally-sourced ingredients and innovative cooking techniques.
  • Lead and inspire a team of culinary professionals, including sous chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff, to deliver exceptional dishes with precision and consistency.
  • Maintain strict standards of quality and hygiene in all kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and upholding our reputation for excellence.
  • Provide guidance and training to kitchen staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth to elevate skills and performance.
  • Manage food and labor costs effectively, optimizing resources and minimizing waste while maximizing profitability and maintaining budgetary targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers and vendors to source the freshest ingredients and negotiate favorable terms for procurement.
  • Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless coordination and exceptional service, responding to guest feedback and preferences to exceed expectations.
  • Stay updated on culinary trends and best practices, experimenting with new flavors and presentations to keep our menus fresh, exciting, and on-trend.

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of Greek and international cuisine, with a passion for culinary innovation and creativity.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of culinary professionals.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Proficiency in cost control and budget management, with the ability to optimize resources and maximize profitability.
  • Certification in food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Fluent in Greek and English.
