Reliability Engineer

A leading international company in the industrial sector is looking for a Reliability Engineer to join its technical team. The position is part of the Maintenance Department and reports to the Maintenance Manager. It is a critical role, primarily focused on ensuring and continuously improving the reliability and availability of production equipment and facilities.

The Reliability Engineer is responsible for:

• Monitor the operation of production lines and systematically conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify and eliminate the underlying causes of mechanical failures
• Design and execute preventive maintenance plans, focusing on the implementation of Predictive Maintenance techniques (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis)
• Monitor and optimize critical maintenance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR (Mean Time To Repair)
• Supervise the proper operation of critical industrial systems (hydraulic/pneumatic networks, gearboxes, pumps, transmission systems, robotics)
• Work closely with production departments, maintenance technicians, and external providers for the effective execution of scheduled maintenance
• Participate in equipment upgrade projects and apply strict safety and quality standards, as well as TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) methodology

The ideal candidate for the position of Reliability Engineer will have:

• University Degree (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in a similar reliability or maintenance engineering role in an industrial environment
• Good understanding of mechanical drawings, industrial automation, and the operation of complex mechanical systems
• Very good knowledge of the English language (written and oral)
