Automation Engineer

As an Automation Engineer, in this role, your main responsibilities will be the following:

• Develop PLC, HMI software using the Schneider SoMachine Software
• Control networks (Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, CAN )
• Support commissioning of systems

 

The position of Automation Engineer is just the right one for you if you possess the following skills:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Automation Engineering
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in industrial or marine environment as Automation Engineer will be considered as an asset
• Knowledge of other software platforms like Siemens Tia Portal or Mitsubishi GX will be considered
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings (electrical wiring diagrams, P&ID etc)
• Minimum two years hands on experience in programming PLC systems
• Previous experience in Marine sector is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of English language.
