ICAP Executive Search on behalf of its client, an established IT Software House, is seeking for a Data Protection & Privacy Consultant to join their development team.

Data Protection & Privacy Consultant (Ref. 5494/DPPC/ESS/GR)

Job Description
• Inform, advise and issue recommendations regarding compliance with data protection laws, including GDPR and other pertinent regulations
• Identification of business processes and systems that relate to personal data and are deemed in-scope for GDPR
• Conduct risk assessments for high-risk processing in connection with GDPR requirements, including data security, security breach notifications, privacy by design, legitimate interest, purpose limitation and fair processing
• Design and document the flows of personal data within the company’s operations
• Identify and document gaps to achieve compliance with the Regulation (GDPR) and translate those to actionable recommendations
• Develop and propose staff awareness training to achieve compliance and foster a culture of data protection within the organization
• Promote data protection policies within the company and provide privacy-by-design advice on new projects
• Assist in privacy related incident response activities

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Qualifications
• BSc. / MSc. degree in Computer Science, Information Security or equivalent
• 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of data protection legislation, in particular the GDPR with a compliance, IT security and audit background
• Previous experience of monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements and effectively engaging regulatory authorities
• Ability to efficiently understand client organizations and their business model and to tailor relevant processes to privacy requirements
• Proven track record of analysing workflows/ processes/system and effectively documenting them
• Ability to make good judgements regarding data privacy risks and to prioritize resources and activity around managing those risks
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Additional recognized privacy and security qualifications/certifications (ISO 27001, ISO 27701, DPO) would be considered an asset
• Good people skills and the ability to interact and communicate effectively, orally and in writing, across all levels
• Strong team player ability with great interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet the market deadlines
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to breakdown a problem into many separate modules
